Dot-matrix printer is too old to donate
Q I have an Epson L-1000 dot-matrix printer in good condition that I'd like to give away. Being a rather conservative person, I cannot make myself dispose of it in the trash. Any idea who would take it off my hands? KATHY HERRMANN, PLYMOUTH A My advice is to throw it away. An old black-ink, dot matrix printer from the late 1980s just isn't useful when modern $50 inkjet printers can reproduce
